U.S. Term Limits Thanks Representative-Elect Eric Sorensen for Signing Term Limits Pledge
with Billboards in His District; Sorensen Joins Over 150 U.S. Term Limits Pledge Signers In Congress

Washington, DC – U.S. Term Limits (U.S.T.L) is congratulating Representative-Elect Eric Sorensen on his victory in Illinois’ 17th Congressional District and thanking him for signing the U.S. Term Limits pledge with billboards in his congressional district.  The U.S. Term Limits pledge promises that the elected representative will co-sponsor the U.S. Term Limits amendment for congressional term limits.  The amendment calls for 6 years total in the U.S. House of Representatives and 12 years maximum in the U.S. Senate. Sorensen proudly signed the pledge during his campaign and has stated strong support for congressional term limits.  The billboards are located at: I-74/280 Moline, IL; 1300 41st St. Moline, IL; 4100 27th St. Moline, IL; 2041 16th St. Moline, IL; 4th Ave. & 51st St. Moline, IL; John Deere W/O 16th Ave. Moline, IL; 1731 7th St. Moline, IL; and  2041 16th St. Moline, IL.

“We want to congratulate Eric Sorensen on his victory in Illinois’ 17th District and his unwavering commitment to congressional term limits,” said Nick Tomboulides, Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Term Limits. “The billboards in his district thank him for his unwavering support of congressional term limits.”

“Congressional term limits is an American issue with strong support among voters of all political affiliations, with over 87% of Americans supporting congressional term limits.  Eric Sorensen’s election shows that deep support for term limits in Illinois”, concluded Tomboulides.  “We know now that he is elected, Eric will be a champion for congressional term limits.”

Polling done by Pew Research shows that 87% of Americans regardless of political affiliation support congressional term limits.  This the highest percentage ever recorded.  Other polling is consistent with this, showing over 80% of Americans supporting congressional term limits.
