Citizens for Term Limits

Why your dollar won't buy what it used to

Your dollar has lost over 40% of purchasing power in 81 months. That’s 6% per year, year after year, with no end in sight, as the Fed keeps adding worthless Bucks to dilute what you already have.

Chart: value of the dollar since 1992

A seemingly endless series of profligate, spendthrift Congresses (both parties) have spent our nation into total bankruptcy, a condition now being inherited by our innocent children, who through no fault of their own will live under this heavy burden all their lives, unless we all take up the fight for a Fresh Congress, populated with term limited patriotic public servants who put the nation ahead of their own personal careers.

  1. Toss some Bricks to Congress – In today’s economy and market, when so many people are losing there jobs, why do we let these phonies keep there job, when they keep making mistakes and are just plain dumb. If they were in a regular job, most of them would be fired a long time ago. Our elected officials are hired by us to do a job for a certain length of period and then get out. It is one thing if the person was very competent and capable of this, then we might feel they should stay longer, but most make it a job just to stay in office, not really do their real job. I got fed up and I went to a site called www.bricktoss.com and tossed a brick at my politican. Enough already.
