Weak American presidents are red meat

Indeed, as we have said previously and now are again reminded that weak American presidents are red meat to rogue nations around the world.
On June 4, in Cairo, Egypt, President Obama with fine impartiality, stated the following:
“No nation should pick and choose which nation holds nuclear weapons.”
Oh really? Does he not know the difference between the good guys and the bad guys?
What purpose does Obama have taking a neutral stance while North Korea is attempting to throw its weight around on the basis of an apparent underground detonation of a nuclear device and the firing of long-range missiles which show promise of extension in capability to reach American shores.
Then showing prejudice against Israel while Iran pursues in quest of nuclear capabilities as its President Ahmedinejad denies the Holocaust and publicly plans to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.
These are not just Israeli lives he is playing with. That would be bad enough. But he is playing also with American lives, and no telling how many other innocent lives around the world.
Is this rookie President, newly up from the very minor leagues, trying out all his pet schemes just to show us all who’s boss? Taxing us at the rate of trillions at a whack? Is this how he gets his kicks?
Is he doing all these antics through stupidity or by design? Either way, I don’t like being his guinea pig.
Nevertheless, we are all his guinea pigs as he is all the while spending our money like water, working to socialize our nation and control our lives while trying to out-spend FDR in imitation of the ill-fated New Deal. This all the while robbing our children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all their issue, as far as the eye can see—of their rightful inheritance as he dissipates our nation’s bounty.
We repeat here an edited portion of our
Thought for the Day article, so the reader won’t have to look it up:
...[T]he [country] belongs in usufruct to the living…[N]o man can by natural right oblige the [country] he occupie[s], or the persons who succeed him in that occupation, to the paiment [sic] of debts contracted by him. For if he could, he might during his own life, eat up the usufruct of the lands [country] for several generations to come, and then the [country] would belong to the dead, and not to the living, which would be reverse of our principle…
— Thomas Jefferson, in a letter to James Madison, September 6, 1789
No nation has ever spent its way out of a recession.
See our J O B S article on the website. It is a wise prescription for what should be done in a recession: reduce taxes and spending – prescribed by folks much wiser than I.
The fastest way to salvage what is salvageable of our nation is to clean house in Congress in 2010. We won’t have time to obtain the constitutional amendment we need, but we have a great opportunity to liberate Congress from the leadership of Pelose and Reid, and regain congressional ownership. First we need a friendly Congress of Citizen Legislators who will go to Washington to serve their neighbors and their country—instead of serving themselves, as Pelosi and Reid do now.
The time is short. The need is of the utmost urgency.
Our nation is at stake.
