Citizens for Term Limits … for a fresh Congress!
January 30, 2009
Public recognition of the Obama misbegotten stimulus package is already showing up on voters’ radar screens.
Polling expert Rasmussen tells us that public support for the stimulus is dwindling.
E. Thomas McClanahan, Kansas City Star Editorial Page columnist wrote yesterday:
Public support for the overloaded porkfest known as the stimulus package is eroding. Forty-two percent (42%) of the nation’s likely voters now support the president’s plan, roughly one-third of which is tax cuts with the rest new government spending. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 39% are opposed to it and 19% are undecided. Liberal voters overwhelmingly support the plan while conservatives are strongly opposed.
What kind of people does President Obama have writing this trash? Is this what we have to look forward to for the four years?
Last week, support for the President’s plan was at 45% and opposition at 34%.
HAD CONGRESSIONAL TERM LIMITS BEEN IN PLACE, THE “PORKFEST” WOULD NEVER HAVE HAD A CHANCE.
Please go back and re-read It’s all right there on the record: Tax cuts bring prosperity on these pages. Tax cuts — and spending cuts — are what our nation desperately needs now.
