Citizens for Term Limits

Our Ship of State is no longer seaworthy.

Citizens for Term Limits … for a fresh Congress!
December 19, 2009

The present captain and crew of our Ship has overloaded it with an abundance of taxes and uncontrolled spending.

As a result, our Ship rides ever lower in the water as it threatens to founder, taking with it our very survival and the survival of our children, grandchildren and their unborn issue.

Yet the captain and crew continues to take our Ship out to sea into uncharted waters, while any sailor will tell us that elementary prudence would require that we we set a course 180 degrees opposite and head for the safety of Home Port

It is the credit card of future generations who will be left with huge insurmountable debt, thanks to the incompetence of the present captain and crew.

Never before has the very existence of our Ship of State been so desperately threatened.

Nevertheless, the captain and crew continue to take our Ship out to sea into stormy and uncharted waters. Any sailor with a lick of sense would tell us that elementary prudence requires that we set a course 180 degrees opposite and head for the safety of Home Port before weather and the unseaworthy conditions deteriorate further.

With the LORD’s help, it is time to throw off our oppressors, as did our forefathers in 1776.

It is also time for constitutionally mandated congressional term limits.
