It is time for Louisiana's U. S. Senator David Vitter to resign

Citizens for Term Limits … for a fresh Congress!

Vitter has dirtied himself. Not only does he have an apparent diaper fetish, but he has also become known for his famous trips to visit the DC Madam, and has located another madam in Louisiana.
If I were a Republican from any state, I wouldn’t want Vitter in the U. S. Senate as a Republican, a representation of my party.
And if I were a Democrat, I would be looking forward to a field day running against a David Vitter.
Does this mean that Vitter is beyond redemption? Not at all.
We are merely pointing out that the Bible is full of examples which demand that leaders be of good moral character. For now, Vitter needs to resign, take stock of himself and rehabilitate himself to the point where he can once again come back into the political arena, if that is his wish.
Meanwhile, there will be plenty of time for Louisiana Republicans to select a replacement for Vitter in the upcoming August primary election. And plenty of time for any of the many good, respectable and responsible Louisiana leaders to qualify to run during the three-day July qualifying period.
Meanwhile, we hopefully await news that Vitter is indeed taking steps to rehabilitate himself.
