Haiti, an Important Election and Congressional Term Limits
by Rense Johnson, Chairman
Citizens for Term Limits … for a fresh Congress!
January 18, 2010
the world is shocked, appalled and mesmerized by the incomparable magnitude of the disaster in the poor little earthquake-struck country of Haiti.
And Former President Bill Clinton showed up on the scene as an act of compassion, right?
Or could it be that he has seen the handwriting on the wall about the famous Massachusetts senatorial election and how it could upset the whole Democrat apple cart, and President Bill wanted to be making waves as far from Massachusetts as possible?
Oh Goodness! Shame on me in connection with all those honorable, honest, always fair-and-square foursquare Democrats!
Oh yes – except for the Haiti disaster – if we had had constitutionally mandated congressional term limitation ten years ago, much of the foregoing would never have happened.
