Former State Department No. Two is up to his treacherous old tricks
**“And Richard Armitage, the man who leaked Valerie Plame’s CIA status to the press and then let others take the blame for it in the press, is now saying that Democrats will win the House and perhaps the Senate. And he says, approvingly, that this will mean increased oversight of the Bush administration.
In a speech in Canberra, Australia, Armitage said: ”’The message I think from the electorate is that fear doesn’t work. You’ve got to go back to what is traditionally ours…to those things that made us important in the eyes of the world.’ He added that after 9/11 America was ‘exporting our anger and our fear” and that the U.S. needs to now export ‘hope, opportunity and inspiration.’”**

This is the guy, who with the complicity of his erstwhile boss Colin Powell, opened President Bush up to a full spectrum of unwarranted, unsubstantiated and vicious charges from the mainstream left-leaning media, who were only too eager to pile on—inflicting incalculable damage to the presidency in a way President Bush could not fairly defend nimself. Never mind that no terrorists have made it to our shores as President Bush has taken the battle to the enemy in Iraq and elsewhere, using whatever means are necessary to get the jump on those who would destroy us.
The only ‘hope, opportunity and inspiration.’ Armitage offers as he travels to Australia to put down our President is the hope opportunity and inspiration to make himself look good to the world at the expense of America and America’s President.
It would seem that Armitage’s anger, fear and anti-American behavior knows no bounds. See our article “What did Special Prosecutor Fitzgerald Know, and State Department Mendacity” below.
