"Cap and Trade" is 100% Bogus.

Citizens for Term Limits … for a fresh Congress!

“Cap and Trade” is based on the totally false global warming scam promoted by Al Gore.
If you will go to Citizens for Term Limits’ Links page you will find additional ammunition that has been available there since long before President Obama took office. Highlights:
1. S. Fred Singer, Professor Emeritus of Environmental Sciences, University of Virginia writes of a “persistent 1,500-year cycle of warming and cooling extending back at least one million years.”
2. Also you will find an article by the Center For Individual Freedom quoting the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine (OISM):
According to OISM’s board of scientists, “a review of the research literature concerning the environmental consequences of increased levels of carbon dioxide leads to the conclusion that increases during the 20th Century have produced no deleterious effects upon global weather, climate, or temperature.”
To the contrary, the OISM notes that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide have actually increased plant growth rates, among other positive effects. On this basis, the OISM concludes that “predictions of harmful climatic effects due to future increases in minor greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide are in error and do not conform to current experimental knowledge.”
To which 31,000 scientists affixed their signatures to a petition agreeing to the foregoing.
Now we have, thanks to Wall Street Journal’s Kimberly A. Strassel, positive evidence that President Obama’s Environmental Protection Agency is lying, and covering up, despite a dissenting whistle blower who was told to keep quiet. (Please see article immediately preceding this one.)
But that doesn’t bother the Obama administration. If Al Gore had promoted the other side, so would Obama, et al. Obama is constantly looking for something, anything to tax (and call it something else), so he can spend even more.
No nation has ever spent its way out of recession. It didn’t work for FDR, who spent a recession into a full-blown Depression. It won’t work for Obama, who is going the same route, recklessly spending our children’s money by the trillions, destined to create a full-blown depression from a normal recession. With his insane behavior he is taking the country down with him, creating explosive unemployment as he goes.
